Gifu City and Gifu Castle: Gifu City is home to Gifu Castle and the view from its keep is spectacular. Visitors can stroll around the castle while experiencing its history and culture.
Takayama City and Old Streets: Takayama City has an old townscape with an atmosphere reminiscent of the Edo period. There are areas with traditional wooden buildings, kimono shops, and teahouses.
Hida City and Hida-no-sato: In Hida City, there is "Hida-no-sato" where you can enjoy traditional woodworking and crafts. Visitors can experience woodworking and purchase handicrafts.
Shirakawa-go and Gassho-Zukuri Village: Shirakawa-go is a beautiful village of Gassho-Zukuri houses where you can enjoy the scenery of each season. It is also registered as a World Heritage site.
Gujo City and Gujo Hachiman Castle: Gujo City is home to Gujo Hachiman Castle, from which the view is spectacular. The city is also famous for the Gujo Odori dance, and a grand dance festival is held in summer.
Okuhida Onsen-kyo and Onsen in Nature: Okuhida Onsen-kyo is located in Gifu Prefecture, where visitors can enjoy hot springs in a natural setting. It is also a resort area where visitors can enjoy the scenery of the four seasons.
