When our member bring their bicycle to Japan in the special cardboard box (purchased on this website for member only), and they can courier their bicycle from the arrival airport to the hotel where they will be staying.
And next, you will move to the hotel with empty hands, after visiting the city area for sightseeing, eating and shopping without carrying your bike.
You will get your bike in the cardboard box at the hotel.
And next, you will send back the empty cardboard box from your hotel to our warehouse.
While you are cycling around Japan, we will store your cardboard box until you use the box to bring your bike back to your country.
We will send back your cardboard box to send your bicycle to the airport at the hotel you will be staying on your final day of cycling.
You can send your bike in the box to the airport (2 days before your flight you leave Japan), or our warehouse if you plan to continue your trip in Japan without using your bicycle for a while, we will keep your bicycle for that period and deliver it to your designated airport on the day you return home.
Or you can also leave your bike at our warehouse (up to 1 year) until your next visit Japan.

HOW TO SEND YOUR FULL BIKE IN JAPAN

Full bike frames(Road bike/MTB/Touring bike) in cardboard boxes can be sent by courier anywhere in Japan.
The key is to remove the wheels and pack them in a separate cardboard box or pack them in wheel bags and send them separately.
Even with two boxes, this way may be cheaper and easier than sending a large over-sized bike hard case with a specialized carrier.

Yes, but they can’t handle it from hotel to hotel.
We have to deal with the empty box when we are riding.
The proper size cardboard box can be sent from hotel to hotel during our cycling area.
It’s ok if you ask the hotel to keep the empty hard case during your cycling, but we don’t want to return back to pick it up, so we recommend to send the empty box from the hotel to the last hotel.

Yes, but the terminal station to move to the starting point usually very crowded.
We can not bring it in the train or bus in the morning, crowded hours.
Recently, we can travel in Japan with our bikes to use local delivery service for hands-free travel.

We can just bringing our bike in the hard case on the airplane as luggage.
We can pay to bring the oversized baggage lots and pay about $200 USD for oversize and overweight for a hard bike case. Way easier, in the hard case can go on buses and trains.

Sorry, but we don’t want to bring the oversized bike hard case in the train and bus at the morning weekday in Japan, very crowded and no space.
Of course, you can do it, if you want but your choice will be very limited.

You can send a hard case or soft case through local delivery service or though airline cargo no issue for a fraction of the work, if you're flying there, it's also included in economy tickets too.

Yes, I wish Yamato T-Q bin, major local delivery service which cover the islandwide, will handle the oversized bike hard case and soft case, but they can't handle them.
Or I wish Thule will make smaller lightweight hard case, I will buy it, but current models are too big to send via regular delivery service from the hotels.
