This is a course for cyclists in good health that starts at Tahara Station and heads for the 1,011-meter-high Hakone Daikanzan Mountain. The elevation rises quickly as you pass through Ashigara and enter the Hakone area, and you can enjoy a pleasant ride along a pleasant route with almost no traffic signals.
The downhill from Mt. Daikan to Manazuru has an elevation gain of approximately 1,000 meters, so be sure to bring warm clothing. Be careful not to drive too fast!

The Yamakita/Nakai Route, which starts at Odawara Station near Odawara Castle and runs through gently hilly terrain, is also attractive during the cherry blossom season when cherry blossoms can be seen in many places.
Although the maximum elevation on the route is less than 250 meters, there are a surprisingly large number of ascents and descents, making it a challenging ride even for intermediate-level riders.

We recommend a route that circles the southern part of the Miura Peninsula from Misakiguchi Station on the Keihin Kyuko Railway Kurihama Line. Renting an electric bicycle in front of the station is even more reassuring! At first, the route runs through the interior, but the fields spreading out on both sides give you a wide field of vision. After crossing the Jōgashima Ohashi Bridge and enjoying Jōgashima, take the bicycle directly to Misaki Port on a boat. After eating tuna and visiting a shrine, if you have time, you may want to visit Aburatsubo Marine Park before returning.
