The original special bicycle wheeled bag (RINKO Bag)
for bringing your bicycle on cycling trips in Japan!
In principle, bicycles must be completely covered with a bag-like cover or case when being transported (bicycle transportation) by public transportation railroads in Japan.
(except for some cycle trains).
This bag is a bicycle transport bag exclusively for folding bicycles.
----
We would like to introduce the original special bicycle wheeled bag (RINKO Bag) for bringing your bicycle on cycling trips in Japan.

The material is MADE IN JAPAN, and the sewing is done in Japan.
The bag is designed not only to be used for train transportation in Japan, but also can make it strong enough to be checked in as baggage for international flights by incorporating reinforcements inside the bag to make the foldable reinforced cloth bag as strong as a semi-hard case.
With this bag, you can bring your folding bicycle (up to 20 inch) from overseas to Japan on an international flight, and then use the Japanese domestic rail network to travel to the cycling area.
This is a specially produced wheeled bag (RINKO Bag) in limited quantities.

交通手段について
By Cycling
自転車
You can go anywhere by bicycle on roads other than automobile-only roads. Since congestion varies from road to road, another advantage of bicycles is the ability to use bypass roads and back roads parallel to major hoofed roads. There are gas stations, convenience stores, restaurants, shopping malls, etc. along the roads, so you can take breaks and move at your own pace.
--
To enjoy cycling safely, please keep in mind the 5 rules when driving.
As a general rule,
① keep on the left side of the road, with exceptions on sidewalks, giving priority to pedestrians.
② Obey traffic lights and stop at intersections to ensure safety.
③ Turn on the lights at night
④ Drunk riding is prohibited
⑤ wear a helmet
--
*Leave plenty of space between you and the bicycle in front of you.
*Be careful on rainy days and after the rain, as the road can be slippery.
*Be careful not to speed too much
*Check your bicycle before riding
*Basically, we should ride in a single file.

HOW TO TRAVEL IN JAPAN by Trains with Bicycle
(RINKO , In Japanese)
輪行
We will explain the know-how you need when traveling by bicycle using trains in Japan via the URL link below.
In Japan, except on specially designated, such as "Cycle Train" routes, if you bring your bicycle onto a railway train, you have to put it in a special bag(it should fully cover the bicycle).
It is a violation for any part of the bicycle body to protrude from the storage bag.
However, when moving around inside the station, you will not be noticed, even if part of the bicycle body (supporting wheels, saddle, etc.) protrude from the storage bag.
For folding bicycles that have auxiliary wheels for transportation, it is safer to carry two bags: a main storage bag that completely cover the bicycle body, and a simple cover that partially covers the bicycle.

HOW TO HANDLE THE BIKE TO TRAVEL IN JAPAN by Trains with Bicycle
(Logistics, to & In Japanese)
If you carry your bicycle as hand luggage on a plane, you must comply with each airline's checked baggage size and weight regulations.
If it falls within the size and weight regulations, you can check it in as baggage at check-in and pick it up at the arrival airport.
When sending your bicycle from the airport in Japan where you will be arriving to the hotel where you will be staying or the station where you will be arriving, it is important that the size and weight of your bicycle be within the acceptance regulations of Japanese domestic transportation companies. is.
Generally, the sum of the three sides (length + width + height) is within 200 cm, and the weight is often within 30kg (airline regulations are 23kg).
For folding bicycles, this often falls within the regulations, but for full-size road bikes, mountain bikes, and touring bikes, please be careful about the size of the box you use to transport them.

There are three ways to ride a bicycle on a ferry.
Generally, if you put it in a wheeled bag (treated as baggage), there is no charge.
If the bicycle cannot be carried on the route as it is, you can bring in with packing in a wheeled bag.
Large ferries: Fares are expensive if you treat your bicycle as a light vehicle.
We recommend that you bring your bicycle on board in a wheeled bag as baggage.
Medium ferry: Inexpensive.
Bicycles can be carried on board without leaving the bag.
Small passenger ferry: Note that there are routes where bicycles can and cannot be carried.

バス
Train is OK for wheeled transportation, but express buses usually do not allow wheeled transportation.
Deluxe Highway buses take up a lot of space for passenger seats, so they often don't have enough trunk space.
This is why highway buses do not allow bicycle luggage.
The larger the trunk space, the smaller the passenger seats will be.

In most cases, bicycles are prohibited on express buses.
However, there are some buses that allow bicycles.
You can check the compiled a list of highway bus routes and bus operators that allow you to travel by bicycle.
