This route connects Matsue Shinjiko Onsen Station on the shores of Lake Shinji, one of the "100 best sunsets in Japan," to Mount Daisen, which will celebrate the 1,300th anniversary of its opening in 2018. The route from Matsue Shinjiko Onsen Station to Kaike Onsen Hot Spring, a famous hot spring in the San-in region, via the Nakaumi Sea, has few differences in elevation, so you can enjoy the lakeside scenery and the Japan Sea with its white sands and green pines.

This is a course with a superb view of Nishinoshima that takes you to Yurahi-no-Mikami Shrine, the shrine of the town of Nishinoshima, and Akao Observatory, a spot overlooking the scenic Kuniga Coast. The course has a height difference of approximately 250m and is suitable for intermediate to advanced climbers.
