This route traverses Fukuoka Prefecture from the north using the Higashisefuri Tunnel. From Naka River City, the route hill-climbs along the Chikushiyabakei River to the Minamibata Dam. The route then passes through the Gokayama Dam and over a mountain pass into Saga Prefecture. Although beautiful scenery awaits you, the first half of the race requires a lot of stamina.
