The line is located in Tokyo, but the time seems to flow slowly and richly somewhere on the line.
The cycle train has been well received and is used as a means of transportation and leisure.

JR Joban Line Cycle Train

Cycle trains are now in operation on the Joban Line in the Ueno - Ibaraki area.
The service is available on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays from June 2024 onward, with two trains each up and down (except during busy times).
You can get on and off only from Ueno Station to Tsuchiura Station.
Please make reservations in advance through the dedicated websites.
